10 reasons why Jay-Z is the man rap music is secretly pro wrestling.
1) Ghostface Killah made a song using autotune (!) that he was going to release as his first single. A little while later, Jay-Z’s “Death of Autotune” was released. The outcome? Ghostface decides not to release the single.
2) T-Pain dissed Jay-Z on stage at a concert due to Jay’s “Death of Autotune” song. Jay-Z never responded, but T-Pain apologized. Not only did he apologize, he made a super gay song to highlight his apologetic feelings.
3) Beanie Sigel dissed Jay-Z in a song. He then turns around and says that he “still has love for him” in an interview. When Jay-Z didn’t respond, he dissed him even more. What’s “love” got to do with it?
4) Lil Wayne dissed Jay-Z in a magazine. He then turns around and gets T-Painish. He essentially kisses Jay-Z’s ass enough to get on a song with him. After Jay-Z unretired, Lil Wayne briefly stopped calling himself the best rapper alive, and instead called himself “the next in line.”
5) The Game called Jay-Z a ‘legend’ on his first album. Years later, he disses him in a song. Jay-Z doesn’t really respond, minus calling him a groupie. The Game’s response? “Jay did the right thing and just kinda let it die down and I let it die down ’cause it wasn’t anything really. It was fuckin’ fun and I really admire Jay’s career. I just really don’t care too much for the man himself.”
6) Jaz-O put Jay-Z on. Decade or so later, he’s dissing Jay because one blew up and the other didn’t.
7) Nas and Jay had a legendary battle. Besides the revelation that Jay fucked Nas’ chick which flipped the whole shit upside down, Jay also signed Nas to Def Jam and became his boss. Either way, much to the dismay of Nas fans, Jay got him back 10x over outside of the booth.
8) Dudes think it’s cool to wear flip flops now. Guess why?
9) The only time Cam’ron went platinum is when he was signed to Jay’s label. Years later, he disses Jay. Jay dismantles his whole squad: Cam’ron was basically in hiding for years, Juelz got dropped from Def Jam (where Jay-Z was the boss), and Jimmy’s career died after Jay dissed him on his own song. JR Writer dissed Jay-Z and tried to gain fame. People still don’t know who the fuck JR Writer is.
10) He’s fucking Beyonce Knowles.
